Donald Kaneo
Donald Jiro Kaneo, 49, of Honokaa, died Oct. 8, 2020, at North Hawaii Community Hospital in Waimea. Born Jan. 10, 1971, in Honokaa, he was a tile installer for a private construction company and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Honokaa.
Services will be held at a later date.
He is survived by daughters, Alisha Kaneo of Honomu, Cheremy Kaneo of Oahu and Donalyn Kaneo of Honokaa; son, Gunja Kaneo of Honokaa; seven grandchildren; mother, Irene Kaneo of Honokaa; brothers, George Gamayo of Paauilo and Darren (Darde) Gamayo of Honokaa; sisters, Leila Kunishige and Wanda (Talan) Parel of Honokaa, Kaylene (Leroy) Alip of Paauhau; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Lucino Gomera Sr.
Lucino Salboro Gomera Sr., 92, of Paauilo, died Oct. 3, 2020, at his residence. Born April 6, 1928, in Laupahoehoe, he was a retired diesel and automobile mechanic forthe former Hamakua Sugar Co., U.S. Army Korean War veteran and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa, Santo Ninio Club and Paauilo Community Athletic Association.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. Oct. 30 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa for a 9:30 a.m. Mass.
He is survived by daughters, Stephanie Echavez of Florida, Katherine (Wendell) Paiva of Paauhau and Rochelle (Bryan) Hunt of Honokaa; sons, Lucino (Lisa) Gomera Jr. of Kona, Brendan (Jamee) Gomera of Waimea, and Darren Gomera of Paauilo;14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Gabriel (Verna) Gomera, Daniel Gomera and Domingo Gomera, all of Hilo; sisters, Judy (Joe) Costa of Honokaa, May (Gerald) Otomo of Hilo, Oria (Roger) Michaelis of Orange, California and Yvonne Ikeda of Oahu; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Charles Coe
Charles Edward Coe, 78, of Hilo, died Oct. 8, 2020, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Wahiawa, Oahu, he was a retired truck driver, a member of the Poaha Paina Golf Club, Hawaii Police Golf Club and the Operating Engineers Union, Local 3.
